My Friends thought I was Crazy!

“My friends thought I was crazy, ‘You’re going to chiropractic college? Why don’t you go to medical school and become a real doctor?’ ”

I was Thankful and Inspired by my Chiropractor

“My first chiropractic experience happened in the ‘only town in Pennsylvania’, where I was enrolled in college, studying Pre-Med. I had been hobbling around campus for several days after a weightlifting injury to my low back, when a friend suggested that I go see his chiropractor. I had never been to a chiropractor, nor had anyone in my family. ‘What’s he going to do to me?’ I have to admit, I was a little scared, call it fear of the unknown. The short answer was, ‘He’ll help get your body working like it should, call him.’ So I did. After a couple of ‘adjustments’, I could stand up straight, walk without cringing in pain, and most important, get back to my normal activities. I was thankful and inspired by this ‘back doctor’ so much, I decided to change my career path slightly, I enrolled at Life University of Chiropractic and headed South.”

Chiropractic Education

“At Life, I received one of the finest educations. I was surprised to learn that chiropractic college and medical college classes were similar the first couple of years. The main difference being that medical students learn more about the effects pharmaceuticals have on the body and chiropractic students start their” hands on” skills with techniques for diagnosing and reducing the subluxation, which can be a cause of many health challenges.”
